Morphological Tailoring of Thin Films Prepared by Low Cost SILAR Method

چکیده

The growth of highly textured Zinc oxide (ZnO) thin films with a preferred (101) orientation has been prepared by employing Successive ionic layer growth by Adsorption Reaction (SILAR) using a sodium zincate bath on glass substrates has been reported. Morphology of the films were found to be varying well from stacked nanorods to shoots of nanotubes and clustered spherical and hilly morphology with alteration of deposition conditions like pH, thickness and subsequent treatment The study shows that morphological tailoring could be easily achieved by SILAR method.
